Personal Banker / FSR Position in a Financially Stable Credit Union

The personal banker position is truly at the heart of what we do - serving our membership. You could say that it's the most important position here at PSCU. Well, one of them, that's certain.

As a personal banker/financial services representative, you will be actively engaged with the member, providing a quality service experience ranging from: meeting with new and existing members as they walk in our branches or calling to discover, anticipate and solve their financial needs.

In order to succeed, you will have successful experience in delivering great customer service while listening for and helping to solve the customers' unmet needs. You will also have strong relationship, communication, teamwork and follow-through skills.

A minimum of six to twelve months of customer service experience in a financial institution or a related field, during which the following types of experience would have been obtained:

·         Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and sales success with a diverse customer base.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills; excellent telephone communication skills and etiquette.

·         Cash handling preferred, along with the ability to perform mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy.

·         Ability to multi-task with competing demands.

·         Ability to utilize appropriate software and technological applications.

·         Willingness to work as an individual performer in a team environment with creativity and a positive attitude. Supporting your fellow team members as needed is also an important facet of ensuring our members receive great service.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
