IPS has an opportunity for a talented and experienced account manager to work in personal lines insurance.
Our client company is family owned and managed since 1937. They value maintaining stable, long term relationships by staying in contact. Several employees have been there over 20 years.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Day to day servicing of assigned accounts
- Prompt, accurate and courteous service/communication to clients, account executives, partners, and insurance companies
- Placement of Personal lines coverage’s for existing clients and new business prospects, coverage, rating, binders, endorsements, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in an insurance brokerage, with personal lines
- Insurance P&C license in good standing
- Competent with agency management systems, Applied preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, coverages,
policies, procedures
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledg of the carrier markets
- Experience in a paperless office
