Personal Lines Insurance Producer

IPS is searching for a Personal Lines Producer to develop and maintain new clients in an independent company that has been around for a long time and offers top notch coverage.  The successful candidate will possess a high degree of self-discipline and motivation and have a proven record of client development. An existing book of business is preferred. Our client company encourages and rewards its employees to reach their highest level of achievement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  

  Actively generate new prospects, quote, process and market new business, and develop maximum sales volum

  
  
• 
  

  Handle questions, renewals, invoices, premiums, manuals and verifications

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain contact with underwriters, marketing representatives and insureds

  
  
• 
  

  Pursue a program of personal and professional development

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  

  Valid California insurance agent/broker license

  
  
• 
  

  Successful sales record with Personal Lines clients

  
  
• 
  

  Agency experience required

  
  
• 
  

  Technical knowledge and experience

  
  
• 
  

  Existing book of business
