Pet Care Manager
As the Pet Care Manager, your primary responsibility is the health and safety of the pets in our care. It is your responsibility to coordinate all daily activities within the Pet Care Department.
Essential Job Functions:
- Demonstrate solid knowledge about pet care and pet care safety
- Maintain pet care standards
- Order and receive all pets and supplies for the Pet Care Department, and manage inventory levels
- Ensure positive customer experience
- Develop your team: coaching, training, performance reviews, etc.
- Presentation of the Pet Care department
- Pet care systems maintenance
- Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities as well as opening/closing the store
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum three years related experience working in a retail environment
- Minimum two years management experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comfortable operating various systems including: Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
