Pharmacist Supervisor, Employee Pharmacy

We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at ECU. PCMH provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.2 million people in 29 counties. The Supervisor will be responsible for the orientation of new employees and oversee activities of employees and students. Schedule pharmacy technicians, prepare and/or assign daily work and special projects to pharmacists and technicians, evaluate performance of pharmacy technicians as well as monitor performance of pharmacists. The Supervisor participates in the performance appraisal process. Perform pharmacist duties by interpreting orders and compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, ensuring delivery of quality service. The Supervisor serves as a liaison between pharmacy personnel and other departments and/or physicians and function as a resource person concerning products, service and procedures in area of responsibility. Will monitor expenditures, revenue and participate in the budgetary process. May serve as pharmacy representative on hospital committees. Requirements include a BS in Pharmacy with current NC pharmacist license plus two to three years’ experience in a hospital pharmacy.
