Pharmacy Technician Description: Looking for an experienced pharmacy technician to play an integral role in the development of pharmacy automation products. This position reports to the New Products Manager and is a member of the engineering group within Kirby Lester. Primary responsibilities are to test and provide feedback regarding new pharmacy automation devices, as well as traveling to pharmacies for installation. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): · Test Planning – responsible for creation of Test Plans and/or involvement in the planning phases. · Results Reporting – responsible for timely and accurate reporting of test results both written and oral. · Requirements – Responsible to take part in the project planning activities including requirements gathering and specification. · Responsible to help with Customer Support Issues where needed from time to time. · Responsible to help with Beta Testing and other Customer On-Site activities when needed. · Responsible to help with Trade Show demonstrations and/or preparations as needed. · Responsible to help with product documentation activities such as testing accuracy and editing. · Responsible to help with technical duties in the test lab Qualifications: · Highly detailed and organized individual with excellent communication skills both written and oral. · Open minded individual with team attitude most interested in creating a great product. · Must be experienced and comfortable with common PC tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. · Interested in and hands-on with technologies: Hardware, software, PCs, etc. We will train internally on various technologies. · Experience with Pharmacy operations and dispensing fulfillment highly desirable. · Experience with Pharmacy technologies and systems desirable. · Previous experience with software or product testing desirable.
