This position will provide you with the responsibilities of:
- Participating in projects/programs designed to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Participating in projects and programs designed to create a safe environment to avoid error.
- Coordinating the provision of service by the department with regard to pharmaceutical product procurement, manufacturing, dispensing, distribution and control.
- Assimilating the mission, goals and objectives of the hospital and department
- Monitoring, records and evaluates the quality of pharmaceutical product procurement, manufacturing, dispensing, distribution and control throughout the hospital.
- Evaluating new technologies in drug preparation, drug dispensing and drug delivery in a progressive and ongoing fashion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
An excellent candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy,
- Current Wisconsin licensure as a pharmacist
- Minimum of two years of experience as a pharmacist. Hospital experience preferred.
