JOB SUMMARY:

You would be responsible for all pharmacy operations including;
procurement, safe administration and clinical monitoring of
pharmaceutical services for a community-based
Long Term Care Pharmacy which operates Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
§ Coordinates the day-to-day operation of pharmacy services with nursing, physician, program directors and other professional staff to ensure coordination of services consistent with treatment plan
for patients.
§ Ensures that patient medication profiles are maintained and that ongoing drug therapy is properly monitored and documented.
§ Develop and maintain positive customer relations with agency programs, program managers and program staff.
§ Coordinate with pharmacy staff the preparation and the delivery of medications/products to patients.
§ Hire, train, mentor and supervise pharmacy staff. Ensuring all up-to-date pharmaceutical reference materials and resources are available for optimal pharmacy production.
§ Participate in Company quality assurance programs.
§ Ensures that all appropriate required documentation for state and federal regulatory agencies are maintained and current.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
§ Bachelor Degree or PharmD and currently licensed as a registered pharmacist in
the state of Massachusetts (or eligible)
§ 3-5 years of work experience
§ Strong management and leadership qualities
§ Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills
