Our client, a home infusion pharmacy, is actively seeking a qualified individual for a career opportunity near Tri-Cities, WA. Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist The ideal candidate is a licensed professional who is responsible for providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to Facility patients in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Facility, current pharmacy practice professional standards, and other regulatory entities. The pharmacy manager is responsible for the coordination of patient services with the nursing, delivery and reimbursement departments. The pharmacy manager is responsible for the appropriate purchasing, control and security of all drug products and medical supplies. Clinical patient care activities will consist of approximately 20-40% of the pharmacy managers time. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy • Licensed and in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy • Three years experience compounding sterile products and managing complex infusion patients. • Two years supervisory experience in a hospital or home health care setting • Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team • Self-directed with excellent time management skills and able to work independently • Current valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance • Ability to function appropriately within a multidisciplinary team • Ability to get to the job site. • Ability to work under stressful conditions. • Active member of a state or national professional organization. Preferred Qualifications • Post-graduate residency program in clinical pharmacy services • Board certification in Nutrition Support Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapy or other clinical pharmacy practice area. • Prior experience managing inventory and logistics.
