JOB TITLE: Pharmacy Sales Specialist
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Director of Sales

POSITION SUMMARY
Create, plan, direct, coordinate and implement internal and external sales activities for The Apothecary Shops. Introduce and inform current and new practices about the services and products The Apothecary Shop has to offer.
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE JOB
1. Develop and implement long/short term sales and marketing strategies for growing regional market share.
2. Grow pharmaceutical distribution business through strategic sales of financially significant business.
3. Hands on involvement in marketing brainstorming sessions.
4. Thoroughly understand and explain The Apothecary Shops offerings and key benefits to current/potential accounts.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing, Business, or Science related degree preferred
· A minimum of one to two years experience in Outside Sales
· The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
· Requires self direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public, medical staff, and other medical professionals
· Excellent attendance
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Employee must provide own method of transportation, which will include daily visits to various businesses.
Employees will receive a car allowance dependent on the state they will be working in and the territory they are assigned.
Employees will receive their allowance on a monthly basis.
Out of state and quite a bit of in state traveling is required.
Employee must be able to sit in front of computer for long periods of time
Employee must exhibit professional appearance and conduct at all times
