Pharmacy System Consultant

Skills: Pharmacy System Consultant Our client in the Atlanta area is searching for unique individual that has experience as a pharmacy technician, registered pharmacist (RPH), pharmD, or holds formal pharmacy training/certification (CPT, CPHT) combined with a background in Information Technology.

Candidates must have an understanding of brand/generic drug names, medications, drug ordering systems.

This role is with a stable and recession proof company in the Atlanta area.

Requirements:

-Over 2 years of experience of testing pharmacy software/drug ordering systems for hospitals or chain drug stores.

-Ability to create test plans and test cases that provide a thorough overview of pharmacy applications.

-Understanding of the software testing methodology as it relates to Information Technology.

-Understanding of drug interactions and knowledge of generic versus brand name drug labels.

-Familiarity with Testing tools such as HP/Mercury Quality Center, Quick Test Professional (QTP) and Business Process Testing (BPT)
