Performs duties associated with filling prescriptions,  stocks pharmacy area with supplies as necessary, performs duties related to order processing.  Must be able to do prescription data entry, translating prescriptions into the computer system accurately.  Must be able to fill 300 prescriptions a day in the fulfillment area.  Must have knowledge on how to call for overrides for difficult processing.  Must understand the flow of the pharmacy and be able to assist in both the fulfillment and processing side of the pharmacy.

High School diploma or equivalent required.  Minimum 2 years experience in the Pharmacy field with emphasis on high volume, and a very fast pace.  Understands specialty medications.  Will need to understand the urgency of orders.   Full knowledge of fulfillment side of pharmacy. Good verbal/written communication skills.  Ability to read and decipher correctly prescription orders and an understanding of sig codes needed.  Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Good computer and organizational skills and the ability to remain focused on workload and achieve both production and quality objectives.  Must be proficient with in depth data entry
