Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary : LEAD PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

CarePlus Pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacy technician for our location in Boston, MA .

Will be trained in all areas of prescription entry: Special Handling, Inventory management, special orders, customer service, data collection and drugs handling and procedures . Must meet and maintain production and quality standards for all areas. Will assist with special projects. Will support the Pharamcist-in-Charge and the pharmacist staff in the areas of inventory management, staff scheduling, positioning of staff, adminstrative paperwork and the support of staff development.

Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be flexible and able to deal with continuous change. Able to relate well with people across all functional areas of pharmacy. Must be nationally certified. Computer experience with knowledge of WORD and other related software systems.

Qualifications : Two years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in either retail pharmacy or combination of institutional and other pharmacy environment.
National Certification required.

Education : High School education required. Registered or eligible for registry as Pharmacy Technician with State of Massachusetts.
