This position will assist the pharmacist with dispensing, preparation and packaging of medication by performing the technical aspects of pharmacy practice within the limits of regulated responsibilities (as defined by the California State Board of Pharmacy)
Certificate of completion from a recognized technician training program (either academic or hospital based). One year of practical experience as a hospital pharmacy technician (minimum of 2000 hours) may be substituted for the certificate. Current Technician or Intern registration with the Board of Pharmacy.
