The new Park City Medical Center has a full-time opening for a Physical Therapist.  Park City Medical Center provides resort level comfort to medical guests at the facility.  Park City Medical Center is conveniently located at Quinn's Junction in Park City, just off Highway 40.

Treats and progresses patient, communicates with families, physicians and other team members.  Maintains documentation in medical records of services. Accountable to participate in meetings to maintain communication within the team and facility. Participates in in-services and training
modules on an ongoing basis to continually educate team members as well as to increase personal knowledge. Coordinates with leader on team objectives, roles and patient care model.  Participates in teaching aquatic classes to special population.

Completion of Physical Therapy Assistant Course.


Valid/Current Physical Therapy license for practicing state or license eligible.


Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the Health Care Provider by start date.


This position requires physical ability to perform tasks in the assigned work area including positioning and transferring of patients.


Will be required to complete lifeguard coarse.


 


Preferred Qualifications:


Prefer at least 1 year or more of PTA work experience. 


Prefer orthopedics or sport medicine experience.
