Physical Therapy Team Leader
UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health is seeking a full-time team leader for our Orthopedic/Rehabilitation Program. This position will be based out of the Seven Fields office and travel to other site locations is required. The general office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with varying weekend requirements. Responsibilities:
-Assist senior manager of rehab services with coordination of referrals for staff PT's, OT's, COTA's, and SLP's
-Direct, advise and facilitate patient care according to COP, JCAHO, and polices of the home health organization
-Review and analyze clinical documentation of therapy staff to ensure accuracy and completeness
-Coordinate and implement new staff orientation process
-Provide direct patient care as needed
Basic Qualifications:
-Graduate of an accredited program of physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy.
-Minimum two years home health experience as PT, OT, or SLP
-One year management/supervisory experience is preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
-Pennsylvania license in PT, OT, or SLP is required
-Current driver’s license is required
-Current auto insurance is required
-Current CPR certification is required
-Act 33, 34 and Act 73 FBI clearances are required
-Professional organization membership is preferred
-Board Certification is required for Occupational Therapists
-Certificate of clinical competence is required for Speech Therapists.
