Physician Assistant Emergency Department

New enhanced benefit package to include:

Commitment Bonus - $2500.00 payable over 2 years pro-rated semi-annually.
$1500.00 per academic year toward Continuing Medical Education (CME).
$500.00 toward one professional membership per year.
One paid conference week.
Employer paid health and dental.

New clinical afffiliation with Brigham and Women's Hospital through our Emergency Department 
The Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island has created a new paradigm for Emergency Medical Care that provides cutting edge, efficient, and patient-centered care to it's patients. The Physician Assistant program is an integral part of this new system. Physician Assistants will join the staff of Emergency Medicine Trained and/or Emergency Medicine Specialty Board Certified Physicians to provide outstanding care to its patients in an exciting new environment.
In this new model of care, PAs in the Emergency Department at MHRI will work directly with EM physicians and nurses in a collaborative fashion. PAs will have continued hands-on education and opprotunities for advancement of clinical skills including the use of emergency ultrasound. In addition, MHRI EM PAs will have opportunites to teach others and engage in research if desired. MHRI seeks motivated PAs who will bring enthusiasm, skill, and a desire to teach and learn to this exciting envireonment.
