My client is a specialty Cancer hospital located midway between Chicago and Milwaukee.

Their experienced and dedicated cancer experts work together in one location, sharing their knowledge, coordinating treatments and, ultimately, providing tailored Cancer and oncology treatment to you.

Individual patient teams of may include medical, surgical and radiation oncologists; radiologists, registered nurses, care managers, registered dietitians, naturopathic clinicians, mind-body therapists, pain management practitioners, physical therapists, and pastoral care providers.

Their staff also includes a number of specialists, such as a female gynecologic oncologist, hematologist/oncologist, gastroenterologist, and reconstructive surgeon.

The selected candidate will work a M-F Schedule with limited call!

Primarily rounding for physician. 8-5 schedule

Performs tasks as directed by the supervising physician. Performs only those tasks he/she is capable of and within the scope of the supervising physician. Will comply with all hospital by-laws, rules and regulations. Has all entries in the medical record must be co-signed by the attending physician. Also takes direction from department director. Prescribe Category III and above drugs as indicated by state/federal licensing. Implement telephone orders for Category II drugs when a standing order is present. Provide orders under supervision of physician during assigned “on call” duty.

Minimum Qualifications: Completed a program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education of the American Medical Association Council on Medical Education for the training of Physician Assistants; or Education programs on the Armed Forces of the United States, Public Health Service, or their successor agencies which meet the criteria specified by NCCPA Successfully passing National Certification Examination Maintains required 100 CME hours every two years as required by NCCPA to maintain certifications status.
