Experience: Valid licensure in California state required. Board Certified or Eligible.
Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant school. CPR/ACLS certification.
Other Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills required.
Candidate will be responsible manages, oversees and participates in the care of patients in a busy orthopedic/spine clinic, first assist in the operating room and participating in clinical evaluations and pre- and post-operative care; coordinating hospital admissions/discharges, office patient visits, and follow-up care; and home health services per practice protocol; evaluating patient's treatment and health care plan for effectiveness and modifying clinical standards and practice protocols; documenting all assessments, findings, progress, and care provided in patients' medical record; working collaboratively with other disciplines in developing and implementing the therapeutic plan of care; assisting physician in maintaining timely and appropriate communication with other disciplines and ancillary services; plus all related duties as assigned.
