We are currently seeking a Physician Recruiter for our Medical Group. This position is located in Skokie, with easy access to the CTA and METRA.
In this role, you will:
*Prepare a comprehensive profile of the open positions, including challenges and barriers to successful recruitment
*Review specialty compensation benchmarks, comparing to NorthShore Medical Group compensation, and provides recommendations
*Prepare/post/update open positions on NorthShore and other websites used to source quality candidates
*Utilize recruitment database to define candidate pools and executes emails and advertising to target this population
*Develop and implements targeted candidate acquisition strategies for each open position, including the preparation of a candidate acquisition and sourcing budget (i.e., advertising) by assigned search; reviews with the Physician Recruitment Administrative Director
*Enhance/utilize advertising templates to place electronic, web-based, and journal ads that support candidate sourcing strategies
*Utilize creative sourcing techniques that are specific and applicable to positions being recruited
*Source, qualify and thoroughly screen candidates, using NorthShore Medical Group "Hire for Fit" tools
*Prepare and distribute written candidate paperwork, including summaries, curriculum vitae and references
*Execute all aspects of physician recruitment, including compliance with standardized recruitment processes, protocols, procedures and timelines
*Successfully complete assigned physician searches, from initial recruitment through final negotiations
*Serve as the primary contact for physician candidates throughout the recruitment process, including facilitation of the on-site interview for candidate and spouse or significant other; assistance with the offer; contract negotiations as needed
*Maintain knowledge of contracting process
*Distribute electronic surveys to all interviewees and interviewed candidates as directed
*Maintain accurate candidate and open position files (paper and electronic) to provide immediate search information as requested
*Prepare written recruitment summaries or other reports as requested
*Participate in physician recruitment meetings as requested
*Maintain regular appropriate communication regarding search status to all appropriate stakeholders
*Educate, consult and collaborate with physician and administrative business partners regarding the NorthShore Medical Group physician recruitment process, market availability of candidates, compensation, specialty trends, and other key components of this function
*Maintain and advance departmental knowledge base that includes “Hire for Fit” profile; specialty training programs and contact information; current compensation trends by specialty; candidate acquisition methodologies by specialty, etc.
*Develop/maintain relationships with targeted residency programs to enhance the recruitment pipeline and contributes to sourcing resources and database
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge base of the physician recruitment marketplace, including: professional standards and ethics, marketplace knowledge, specialty trends, etc.
Our ideal candidate will have:
*Bachelor's degree preferred
*3+ years of experience in recruitment; clinical healthcare recruitment experience preferred
*Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with physicians and business partners at all levels of the organization
*Ability to function independently and in a team environment
*Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and a diverse workload, while achieving results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
*Ability to problem-solve and generate creative solutions to recruitment challenges, while working effectively with physicians, administrative staff and business partners
*Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
*Exemplary writing skills
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.), internet research and database functionality
*Strong customer-service focus and the ability to effectively influence internal and external customers
*Availability to work some extended hours as needed.
