





Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in the Merchandise Planning area and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action
plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying
business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by

Ensures availability of accurate inventory and inventory information by planning pre-season and maintaining in-season sales, profits, stock keeping
units (SKUs), and inventory data using Sam's Club planning systems.
Executes category specific planning calendars by driving key stakeholder accountability for achieving deadlines; presenting in plan review meetings;
evaluating and discussing historical performance in category talk-out meetings; and providing clear item plans for line reviews.
Manages category level financials (across multiple categories) by creating strategic plans and quantity decisions that meet budgeted goals for
sales, profit, stock keeping units (SKUs ), and inventory performance; communicating plans to key stakeholders; and participating in planning and
open-to-buy meetings.
Manages in-season performance by producing and communicating sell through, item indexing, identifying, and addressing liability issues;
evaluating markdown impacts to category profitability; and developing plans for high-risk merchandise.
Manages in-season performance by communicating sell-through, and identifying and addressing opportunities; evaluating the impact of markdowns
to category profitability; and developing plans for high-risk merchandise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Communicate clearly and effectively with merchandising, replenishment and suppliers.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
1. Allocation, Document Direct, Outlook, Infopac, Wire, Enlighten, Host and demonstrated Retail Link and Excel expertise
2. Sam's planning application knowledge (Oracle and Sam¿s Planning Suite)
3. 4 year degree or equivalent; successful in Buyer and/or Replenishment Manager or higher position
