Description

We are looking for an individual that understands brands and branding.  How they have evolved in the recent past to offer expressions, experiences and even become services way beyond traditional marketing.  This individual must have a superior cultural sensibility and proven track record in igniting culturally-relevant ideas regardless of the channel.  Experience in healthcare is a big plus.

  • Works with the counterparts across S&E and Creative throughout the entire solutions development process (from beginning to end) to drive solution’s roadmap and any other elements of the communications program that are essential to the successful implementation, measurement, and optimization. All while aiming at permeating popular culture as the key objective of any major communications initiative.
  • Contributes with organic growth via significant involvement in greenhouse plans with Group Account Directors and Account Directors         
  • Provides for the recruitment, retention, and development of direct reports
  • Supervises the assessment and improvement of direct reports
  • Partners with the account service counterpart to develop marketing and communication strategies that are fueled by technology, media, and culture insight
  • Collaborates with analytics group to target behaviors and understand motivational drivers of behavior that will result in more effective communication strategies
  • Work with the client service and analytic leads to crystallize for clients the return on investment of our communications and interrogates the results for insight that will increase the effectiveness of each new generation of work


Required Skills

  • Sound understanding of cultural criticism methods
  • Fluent in market research techniques both quantitative and qualitative as well as new methodologies that combine both approaches
  • Solid understanding of media theory, media history, and well versed in new media channels
  • Basic knowledge of Information Technology, ability to understand how technology can evolve into media


Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in direct marketing/advertising/digital marketing, eclectic background in other communications areas a plus
