ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $1.5 billion, is seeking a Plant Controller for our Booneville location. This position will be responsible for providing financial and cost analysis for local plant management and corporate headquarters teams in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities will include:
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS/REPORTING
Compile and track key measures and statistical data for use in preparing financial statements.
Analyze plant labor, scrap, operational spending and inventory transactions against optimal manufacturing levels and to identify, to plant management, key areas needing improvement.
Develop summaries of financial results for presentation to the plant and senior management on a monthly basis.
Responsible for forecast & analysis of manufacturing costs for the plant and communication of results
BUDGET/FORECASTING
MONTH-END
General ledger maintenance/transactional processing/journal entry creation
Month-end closing and reconciliation of plant balance sheet accounts
Prepare monthly plant performance package
Communicate results to various audiences.
Perform special projects and analysis as required to support organization.
STANDARD COST ROLLS/INVENTORY CONTROL
Lead development and analysis of annual standard costs
Monitor Engineering Change Processes and Controls
Maintain integrity of cost accounting system.
Manage physical inventory and cycle count programs
LEAN MANUFACTURING
Take a leading role in supporting lean initiatives by providing the information to support expected cost savings and tracking improvements in a way that would substantiate management decisions.
Identify and quantify actual cost savings realized against key restructuring/cost saving project initiatives.

BA in Accounting or Finance required.
Minimum of 4+ years Controller experience
Plant/manufacturing experience is required
Experience with Lean manufacturing/inventory management principles is preferred.
Strong analytical abilities with knowledge of manufacturing standard cost, costing and accounting systems, are required
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and implement various projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated, flexible and organized
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The candidate must also have the interpersonal skills and leadership abilities to successfully collaborate with others to implement recommendations and change initiatives
Ability to disseminate data and make timely decisions required
Ability to meet/exceed deadlines required
