Plant Controller opportunity exists with a growing company in the Fox River Valley area. This dynamic Plant Controller will participate with the management team in a proactive manner. Responsibilities include: Managing a small clerical staff; overseeing the IT functions; cost accounting (including building BOM's and keeping close track of inventory); month end close; process improvement; interpreting the numbers; variance analysis and financial accounting & reporting. Most importantly, this role is involved in helping the company and other management team members with process improvement and streamlining. This company desires a big picture thinker. BS in Accounting is required as well as 8+ years experience in a manufacturing setting including experience in cost accounting and financial accounting. IT experience is preferred as well.
