Job Summary
Directs and has responsibility for the facility’s accounting practices, the maintenance of plant fiscal records, and the preparation of plant financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and SEC requirements. Position entails oversight of small department including AP/AR and payroll functions. Due to department size, the ability to be knowledgeable and involved in department functions is a must.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
•
Direct accounting practices, fiscal records, general and property accounting, financial reports.•
Systems – Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC requirements, and develop internal audit systems to comply with Federal, state, and local requirements, budget control systems, Cost systems, Hyperion enterprise.•
Appraise operating results in terms of costs, budgets, and policies of operation and fiscal trends.•
Experience in the automotive supplier industry (or equivalent) with knowledge of: Manufacturing practices, JIT delivery, and tier 1&2 suppliers, etc.•
Develop and present financial reports to JV Board of Directors and to JV partners.•
Preparation of annual budget and monthly forecast.
Basic Requirements:
•
BS/BA in Accounting or related field•
5-7 years experience•
CPA is a plus•
Experience automating accounting processes & system implementations•
Managed & coordinated outside auditors
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, QAD System, Ceridian, SAP, and/or any other payroll systems.
