Plant Engineer
- Responsibility and authority as outlined in the Quality Manual, Operational Procedures, and all Instruction Manuals.
- Member of the Plant's Steering Team and Safety Committee.
- Ensures training of and compliance to safety policies and procedures (including, but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out, Right to Know, fire protection, etc.)
- Assigns Support Group personnel daily activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Responds to line problems to ensure production schedules are met.
- Ensures Support Group personnel are properly trained for assigned tasks.
- Implements preventative maintenance and follow through.
- Set-ups new lines and new equipment.
- Schedules and conducts line change-overs.
- Ensures the facility maintenance is executed.
- Ensures parts room is organized and adequate inventory is maintained.
- Responsible for independent projects and their timely closure.
- Audits the documented quality system as assigned by the Management Representative.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Related degree (Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) plus comparable experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated in the context of the interview process and/or references.
- Strong written communication skills as demonstrated by testing, transcripts or other designated methods.
- Detail oriented as demonstrated during the interview process and/or through references.
- Computer skills as verified by testing or transcript.
- Ladder Logic skills as verified by testing or transcript.
- Hands-on experience in industrial safety operations as verified by reference check. Mechanical skills as demonstrated or verified.
- Strong supervisory skills as verified through references.
