Founded in 1928 in New Iberia, Louisiana, Bruce Foods had been manufacturing original Cajun and Tex Mex food products for more than eighty years - long before these spicy cuisines were introduced to the rest of the world. Our Mexican food plant in El Paso, Texas was founded in 1931 and pioneered the first canned Mexican foods.

Today, Bruce Foods is one of America's largest privately-owned food manufacturers with four processing plants in the U.S. Our products are distributed throughout the U.S. and in more than 100 countries, and are carried by most of the top retail grocery chains worldwide so there's bound to be one near you.  Our processing plants are located in New Iberia, Louisiana,  Wilson North Carolina, and El Paso Texas.

Known for our famous "Original" Louisiana brand hot pepper sauce, Cajun Injector Products, Bruce's Yams and Casa Fiesta Mexican food items, we manufacture a variety of more than 350 food products under nine premium brands - all authentic, all delicious and all natural.  Bruce Foods boasts two number one national brands and several significant category brand leaders.

We are currently to seeking a Plant Engineer for our Wilson North Carolina plant to perform the duties below:

• Manage all engineering functions, mechanical, electrical.


• Analyzes and controls spending on plant equipment and related items.


• Manages maintenance staff


• Assists in budget preparation.


• Plans improvements in equipment and operations.


• Assists in management of plant safety .


• Manages new projects and assists in their successful completion


• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

• Good people skills to lead his department to success.


• Engineering degree or five plus years of experience in field


• Experience in field.


• Solid references.
