Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (maybe Chemical) required min 3+ years experience required. 5-10 ideal.


 


Understanding of refining or petrochemical processes and associated engineering skills. Refining, olefins (ethylene, propylene), gas processing or other continuous processing all good fits. Hands on, equipment oriented experience with strong mechanical aptitude in high temperature, high presuure processes. (hydrogen compressors, pressure vessels, pumps etc.)


 


Good production troubleshooting skills. Strong background in rotating equipment specification and troubleshooting. Ability to relate to and supervise technical as well as hourly personnel. Capital project conception and implementation. Well developed analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work on multiple projects successfully.


 


This position is responsible for refinery and facility engineering, conception and implementation of capital projects.  It also supervises the Maintenance and Plant WWTP departments, and is responsible for the mechanical integrity and PSM functions for the area(s) of responsibility within the facility.


Responsibilities:


Establish and monitor overall engineering and maintenance budget


Maintenance/Reliability/Rotating Equipment


Supervise maintenance and utility personnel.


Manage project activities and contract work including new project compliance with EHS federal, state and local regulations


PSM functions.
