We are looking to fill an immediate need for a Plant Molecular Biologist with our client, a leader in the field of Biotechnology. The focus of their research is to develop technology that will enable farmers to grow more crops by applying biotechnology, genomics, and molecular breeding technology to herbicides and seeds.

The selected candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other Biological related discipline.  The candidate  will need to be efficient, very good at record keeping, and able to follow detailed sophisticated molecular procedures.  Familiarity with plant biotechnology is important but not essential. An understanding the common in silico support systems for cloning is required. Knowledge of plant pesticide systems would be an advantage and knowledge of general crop traits a plus.
