In this position, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Work side by side with higher level Plant Engineers and Operators on training, education and documentation the operations, maintenance and minor of the Power Plant Facility
* Record daily Plant and equipment readings and assist with start and stop of Plant related power and cooling equipment as required for operations.
* Provide assistance with Plant repair and upgrade projects.
Are you interested? The ideal Plant Operator candidate will possess:
* Will require the ability to understand the operations and maintenance of one or more of the systems and equipment which provides the chill water, heating hot water, and electrical power distribution used in commercial office buildings, manufacturing facilities, Data Centers, Labs or critical support operations, i.e Military experience.
* The ability to comprehend and understand the operations of Power and cooling Plant distribution systems and the associated auxiliary equipment.
* 1-3 years experience or knowledge of cooling or Power Plant operations or repair for the systems or equipment listed below.
Centrifugal chillers
Absorption chillers
Turbine generators
Diesel generators
Centrifugal pumps
Assist with electrical distribution operations
Ability to read flow diagrams, wiring diagrams and schematics
