Plant -Quality Control Manager- Monroe,NC
Supervise quality team & assign responsibilities with priorities
Maintain lab testing work flow organization & Mgmt
Ensure data accuracy & integrity through control of test equipment & procedures
Ensure safe & healthful work place
Develop team potential through hiring, training, appraisal & mentoring activities
Prepare, administer & maintain accurate raw material & product specifications in industrial atmosphere
Maintain supplier & customer contact on quality,process & specification issues
Provide process engineering-style of troubleshooting for internal product problems,make recommendations,adjustments & disposition of any non conforming product
Maintain Item Master, formula files, product procedures & resulting quality records
Purchase equipment & supplies in support of quality testing
Deploy GBuS policy, as requested
Quality Control experience, in a manufacturing environment
process,chemistry, and statistical techniques required
Ability to manage both exempt and non exempt employees
Detail & results oriented
Exceptional communications skills
Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of multiple software programs
BS/BA Degree in Chemistry or other related technical field with a minimum of 5 years experience
Multi tasker with good organizational and time mgmt skills
Knowledge of QC testing,manufacturing process,chemistry, and statistical techniques required
