About the Job

The Opportunity:


 


 As an industry leader in the development and manufacturer of disposable medical devices we have an immediate need for a talented and creative Process Engineer.  This key individual will contribute their skills to the successful application and diversified knowledge to molding and tooling principles and practices to continuously improve molding performance and molded part quality. This will be achieved in-part by analyzing and assessing supplier and in-house processes to determine process capability. Identify and drive process improvements. The selected individual to join our team will likely have the following profile:


 


The Requirements:


 



  • B.S Engineering degree and approx. 4-7  years of professional process engineering experience.

  • 3+ years experience in a high volume tight tolerance injection molding operation.

  •  Good materials understanding of various types of polymers/resins PE, PU, used in conjunction with disposable devices.

·         Ability to solve technical problems independently using engineering and statistical techniques, DOE. SolidWorks 3-D or Mini-Tab.


·        Good understanding of process tools and techniques such as -- Mold Flow, C-Mold, and Mold-X.
