Police Officer

United States Capitol Police is dedicated to providing the Congressional community and its visitors with a full range of police services.  Our main focus lies in protecting life and property; preventing, detecting, and investigating criminal acts; and enforcing traffic regulations throughout a Employee complex of congressional buildings, parks, and thoroughfares.  Additionally, we are responsible for protecting Members of Congress, Officers of Congress, and their families. 

We are seeking qualified individuals interested in becoming a Police Officer.  We offer benefits under the Federal Employee Health Benefits/Retirement System; paid training, uniforms and equipment provided; paid leave, and competitive promotional opportunities.
