The Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) for Health Care, Research and Education is a not-for-profit, community-based multispecialty group practice of medicine. PAMF patients are cared for by the more than 850 physicians from the three historic medical groups affiliated with PAMF: Camino Medical Group (CMG), Palo Alto Medical Clinic (PAMC) and Santa Cruz Medical Clinic (SCMC). A Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or the clinical director or supervisor.
Must have completed an accredited polysomnography program, associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility. APT accreditation and continuing registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnoraphic Technologists. Current CPR or BCLS certification. Comply with BRPT standards of conduct and all CME/CEC-equivalent sleep related educational activities required for reaccredidation by the AASM.
