Post Doctoral Fellow – Translational Medicine

A FT Postdoctoral Fellow is available in the Department of Medicine/Translational Medicine.  The post doctoral fellow will focus on the research for cardiovascular research focusing on endothelial cell function is available at the Center for Translational Medicine.

 

The department is looking for an experienced cell and molecular biologist to join the research team. The methods to be used in experiments include a surgical mouse model of peripheral artery disease, endothelial cell line and primary cell cultures, FACS, Western blot, qRT-PCR, ELISA, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence. Experience in RNAi gene silencing, gene/protein assay and regulation, cell signaling, in viro models of endothelial cell migration, proliferation and tube formation preferred.

 

Applicants must have a PhD in cardiovascular biology or a comparable field and publications and experience with Microsoft Office Software.
