Job Description:
The Traumatic Stress Studies Division is seeking a statistician with experience in biostatistics to assist investigators examining post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the biological and behavioral correlates of stress in veterans and other populations. This work will be conducted in Dr. Rachel Yehuda's research laboratory at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center (Bronx, NY). The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in statistics or equivalent statistical experience in the behavioral or life sciences. Responsibilities will include statistical aspects of study design, oversight of the design and maintenance of research databases, data analysis, and report preparation in support of clinical trials and basic research projects. Experience with multivariate analysis, structural equation modeling and mixed effects modeling is highly desirable. United States citizenship is required for this position. Job Qualifications:
