Job Description:
o Responsible for design and release of HV to LV DC/DC, charger, and 110V inverter for HEV.
o Develop specifications for HV to LV DC/DC, charger, and inverter.
o Lead engineer (with supplier) on the design and development of converter, control interface board, sensing, and protection
o Manage and coordinate HV to LV DC/DC, charger, and inverter FMEA process w/ robustness, SDS, and DVP&R
o Responsible for defining test methods and track testing
o Coordinate with EMC specialists and complete system level EMC requirements
Qualifications:
o M.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering with specialty in power electronics
o Strong background in power semiconductors, application of circuit theory, and design techniques
o Hands-on experience with designing, fabricating, and testing power modules
o Knowledgeable in CAE tools
o Excellent teamwork and communication skills
o Self motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks
