Power Electronics Field Applications Engineer

Santa Clara, Ca

STMicroelectronics has need for a Power Electronics Field Applications Engineer in our Santa Clara office. The candidate will ensure the promotion, the implementation, and the technical support of Power products in our customers' applications, at system level and lab environment.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Power Electronics DC/DC and AC/DC

- Power Conversion

- Strong Power Electronics Lab experience

- Fluent communication skills in English

- Excellent writing and presentation skills

- Self-motivated

- Experience with either Power Semiconductor Manufacturer or respected Switch Mode Power Supply maker a plus.

Education:

BSEE or higher required

Scope & Responsibilities:

- Develop resolutions for customer and product applications in the Power delivery system.

- Represent the Organization as customer contact and interface with Sales and Product Divisions.

- Write product documentation, app notes and white papers pertaining to customer and internal requirements.

- Serve as a technical expert on target application areas
