Sr. SCADA Systems Engineer

Description:


Bridge Energy Group has a consulting engagement of up to 12+ months for a SCADA Systems Engineer


with one of our premier electric utility clients.  As a Sr. SCADA Systems Engineer you will be responsible for overall system enhancements, data display creation, general database related activity, system enhancements, alarm creation, RTU configuration as well as building the site specific documentation and training.  You’d also be playing a critical role in converting current GE D20 and D25 RTU’s to DNP 3.

Required:
Minimum of seven years of relevant utility automation experience in electrical power systems or industrial automation systems domain


Experience with Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), such as relays and RTUs.


Thorough knowledge of SCADA and HMI design and programming including the creation of data displays.


Experience in PLC and RTU design, configuration and programming


Proficient in database connectivity


Excellent documentation and interpersonal communication skills


Capability to troubleshoot, analyze network and communication problems


ICCP and DNP experience


 


Desired:


GE D20, D25
Security and Nerc Compliance experience
Experience with OSIsoft PI and Historian


 


Education:
