Manages general administrative and clinical responsibilities of the office and directs work of the clerical and nursing staff, assigning specific tasks and responsibilities as needed. Implements new programs and procedures to improve services, operations, and efficiency and to respond to changes within the institution and the external environment. Oversees the financial and clerical functions of the office in conjunction with hospital and medical policy. Oversees the coordination of clinical and clerical integration in conjunction with the practice providers and mid-level providers. Identifies and assists in efficient resolution of problems.
Job Requirements:
A Vermont licensed RN with supervisory experience in a Clinic setting. Must have an understanding of financial aspects of Clinic Management including knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid, and commercial insurance regulations. Should have a working knowledge of Health care billing, knowledge of coding principles and experience with risk management principles. Essentials include good communication and people skills to interact effectively and positively with patients, physicians and co-workers.
