Private, non-profit preschool program is seeking  enthusiastic, creative and experienced PART TIME preschool teachers for the 2012-2013 school year.  We have  positions for  2 1/2 - 3 year olds,  3 1/2 - 4 year olds and pre-k students.  Classes are small.  This is an educational program with an outstanding reputation - not a daycare. 

Applicant must have teaching experience with young children, an education / child development related degree as well as excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic approach.  Curriculum is science based and uses an integrated, thematic approach to incorporate the full scope of developmental skills.  Knowledge and experience in reading readiness skills and excellent classroom management is required.
 

Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 12:45PM with occasional staff meetings and events.  Position runs from mid- August to mid- May with summer work available during our summer camp program in June and July.
