Press Operators

Freedom Graphic Systems, a national Forms Printer/Direct Mail Company based in Grand Prairie, TX is currently looking for highly motivated, career focused individuals to work in a fast-paced, teamwork oriented environment in our Press Department.

 Press Operator:  Should have working knowledge of web based presses Harris M110, Web Heat-set and Kodak UV Curing, with inline finishing experience, ink jet knowledge a plus,  

2^nd Pressman and Roll-tender:  Previous experience in the field of offset lithography, inline ink-jet technology, and all related pre/post processes is necessary.

Ø       Have the ability to multi-task within a manufacturing environment.

Ø       Possess proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ø       Personally own the necessary tools to operate the printing presses

Ø       Promote a safe, positive, team atmosphere

Ø       Endure standing for long periods of time

Ø       Ensure that all work produced meets quality standards and client specifications.

Ø       Maintain a consistently high level of production.

Ø       Undertake additional tasks as seen appropriate by management.

Ø       Be able to lift 75 pounds.

Ø       Be able to setup, operate, and maintain the equipment Independently,

The Printing Press Operator should retain master level knowledge in the field of offset lithography, inline ink-jet technology, and all related pre/post processes. They should have exhaustive knowledge of all industry standards relative to the Printing Press Operator role. It is imperative that the Printing Press Operator hold themselves to the highest standard with regards to quality and efficiency of work produced. The preservation of positive relationships with ones peers, associates, and superiors is essential. A consistently high level of excellent decision making is expected. Ownership of ones work area and all aspects of work produced is critical. The Printing Press Operator should be fiscally responsible and committed to learn manufacturing principals.
