
Pricing Analyst (Req. 2445BR) Online Application Only: Please apply through our Careers website at https://sjobs.brassring.com/1033/ASP/TG/cim_jobdetail.asp?partnerid=25196&siteid=5146&AReq =2445BR&Codes=Monstser The Pricing Analyst will support the Sales Operations and Pricing teams in their efforts to generate profitable revenue growth by providing insight into actionable gaps and opportunities. The Pricing Analyst also will be responsible for developing global pricing performance metrics and analytics, and managing global pricing improvement projects focused on price elasticity, competitive intelligence, revenue analysis, transactional profitability, channel/account segmentation, and sales opportunity. Essential Functions: Assist Global Sales Operations leadership in building and delivering improved business metrics Develop, test and help implement segmentation schema Assist sales team in developing customer specific sales strategies and tactics Deploy tools developed in the Americas to regional counterparts, including comprehensive training programs Build tools to identify and alert sales teams of specific revenue gaining opportunities and trouble spots Work closely with Pricing and Field Operations team to maximize sales force productivity Provide recommendations to improve business processes, increase business understanding, and effectively manage customer relationships Skills/Requirements: Four year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Quantitative Analysis, Biology, Economics or Business Administration, MBA a plus 3 year pricing management and/or 5 years financial/sales analysis experience Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with management, field sales, and customers Strong statistical knowledge, ability to organize and analyze large sets of data into meaningful and concise reports, and propose solutions to management and sales force Ability to work independently, multi-task and respond to requests quickly Basic understanding of data structures within databases Ability to communicate and work well with sales force, company management, and customers, position requires a customer service mindset Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, EDW, proficiency with SQL database a plus Some travel required Life Technologies is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
