As a Pricing Manager, your essential job functions will include the following:
• Manage pricing process to achieve zero errors. This must include the audit of all pricing changes before and after implementation to Alliances.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on the development and implementation of pricing specials.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on the analyst and implementation of all pricing changes. To include recommendations with ROI analysis on price support request from manufacturers.
• Determine values of all added value elements within current pricing.
• Develop tools that allow Dealer Tire to leverage market data to substantiate market price.
• Develop and manage all pricing communications both internally and externally.
• Monthly report on current competitive position of Dealer Tire and recommended actions and forecasted effect.
• Extensive understanding of complete pricing chain and estimated profit from manufacturer to consumers.
• Develop tools and models that would allow testing of price elasticity within Car Dealer Channel.
• Identify methods to monitor pricing by customers and competitors.
• Completing competitor analysis of major competitors, including qualitative and quantitative information.
• Implementing and maintaining a customer and competitor database.
• Managing execution of price increase effectiveness and measuring success.
• Implementing strategic and tactical cost/price planning. Understanding, developing, and using pricing models.
System Requirements:
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (5 + years)
• Expertise in Microsoft Power Point (3 + years)
