This is a
phenomenal opportunity for an experienced medical device R&D engineer
looking to join an industry leading team.
As a member of this high performance team developing a revolutionary new
way to implant heart valves you will be involved in the development and testing
of implants and delivery instrumentation.
This is a high visibility role within our Heart Valve Therapy Business
Unit which is our largest organization in Edwards Lifesciences.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As a Clinical Engineer you will be
responsible for surgical and MIS procedural development of new cardiac implant
devices. This position will be tasked to partner with external Physicians and
internal Product Development Engineers to define and develop surgical
procedures and devices as well as be responsible to work with Sales and
Marketing teams assisting in clinical training.
Our
Requirements:
Our ideal
candidate is a medical device product development and clinical engineering of
cardiac implant medical devices with 10-15 years of relevant technical
experience. Principal Engineer requires a minimum of eight years of experience.

A bachelor's in Engineering Discipline required; Mechanical
Engineering is preferred. A master's in Biomedical Engineering is a plus.
Educational and experience should demonstrate ability to cross over technically
and clinically.

Travel 10-25%.

Heart valve replacement and repair experience a plus. style='font-family:Arial'>
style='mso-list:Ignore'>·
Requires the creative ability to provide expertise in engineering
and product evaluation methods. Additional expertise in mechanical systems,
stress analyses and fluid mechanics is helpful.

Must have a proven track record of accomplishing work
independently, have demonstrated project ownership and accountability, and
collaborative skills in prior work.

Must have the desire and drive to work in a fast paced team
environment.

Strong problem solving skills and effective communication, both
verbal and written, and a "can do" attitude are essential.style='font-family:Arial'>
