Principal Consultant – Health Plan Specialist Job
Description:

As a member of the
Arcadia team, the Principal Consultant - Health Plan Specialist will have a key
role in providing subject matter expertise to Arcadia project teams and
facilitating our company’s growth in the healthcare marketplace. Candidates for
this position must have prior related work experience, management experience
and industry knowledge. Additionally, project management experience and/or
consulting experience at a health plan is required.  This position requires that the hire has the
ability to adapt well to change, think on their toes, and quickly learn new
skills. Specifically, this hire will be responsible for leading a team in
designing, implementing and delivering custom business solutions to health
plans. They are involved in full life-cycle projects and should be able to:

• Be a subject matter expert and contribute to health
  plan service offerings development
• Be responsible for project delivery: project planning,
  project management, business consulting
• Be accountable for success of client program/projects
• Define and deliver Proposals for Account
• Define, maintain and execute on an account plan that is
  in line with our company strategy
• Take financial responsibility for revenue/margin at the
  account
• Up-sell/Cross-sell additional work within an account
• Perform staff development and mentor junior resources
• Transfer subject
  matter knowledge to peers

Other qualifications include:

• 5+ years of professional experience, including
  experience at health plans
• Experience with a Blues Plan or the BCBCA strongly
  preferred
• Previous management consulting experience a plus
• Management or leadership experience
• Experience in a project environment
