Then you have come to the right place, the “logical” place for your best career move! Scope of this position: - This position is responsible for providing thought leadership and strategy in portal analysis and design as well as establishing long-term partner relationships with LDS clients.
- In preparing for this position, the candidate will have worked in a consulting environment for a minimum of 7 – 10 years.
- The role requires in-depth knowledge of enterprise portal solutions and their business value proposition.
- This position reports to the VP, Analysis & Design from a discipline perspective and the Executive Sponsor from an engagement perspective.
Job Requirements: Technical Requirements: - Consult with the client to establish the portal strategy, vision and governing principles for the client environment.
- Formulate client readiness assessments around technology, organizations and people.
- Facilitate executive and subject matter interviews and other structured information gathering sessions to provide structure to ill-defined and complex problems.
- Has documented success with developing a portal business strategy and managing complex transformation projects.
- Propose and deliver designs, across multiple releases, which can be implemented within constraints of time, budget, technology and client/LDS processes.
- Create and formulate frameworks and tools, designing solutions in accordance with the client’s governing principles.
- Provide optimal analysis, business and functional modeling, and portal design articulation that will deliver the value promised to the client as designs are implemented.
- Proficient with model processes, scenarios, business & workflow knowledge, functional requirements and design specifications.
Consulting Requirements: - Exceptional communication skills with executive and C-level constituents; presentation, facilitation, oral, written, listening and conflict resolution.
- Enthusiastic about assuming responsibility and accountability.
- Flair for evaluating alternatives and deciding on a plan of action.
- Adept at critical and creative thinking.
- Leadership abilities, across the client enterprise and in a multiple project environment, which influences clients, team members, and key stakeholders.
- Expert in planning and management of detail project plans and diverse teams.
- Experience with knowledge management, business transformation and change management.
Education: Master’s degree – MBA, Computer Science, Psychology or related field. Location: Florham Park, NJ Travel: Travel to client sites expected (approx. 30%), trade shows and sales prospects as needed.
