Azimuth Systems is a leader in wireless test and channel emulation for the LTE, Cellular, WiFi and WiMAX markets.
As
a member of the Azimuth Engineering organization, you will work with a
small team of DSP
and firmware developers to implement new features on an existing
platform. You will be actively involved with product development
activities
including design, development, coding and testing of DSP algorithms and
embedded software for wireless channel emulation products.
Note: this is a temporary position. You must be available to work on site
during approximately the period of Jan 2010 to Apr 2010. Only local candidates will be considered.
Required Skill/Experience
- 5+ years experience with DSP systems development
- Strong background in digital communications and
signal processing theory
- Signal
processing applied to communications is preferable over radar or image
processing
- Use of simulation tools such as MATLAB
- Development for TI C64x fixed point DSP
processors and use of Code Composer Studio a must - Demonstrated ability to work a team of engineers
- Proven experience in product development – must
have been in a product development role at some point - Strong analytical skills and ability to dive in
and solve complex engineering / product development problems. - Highly motivated, self-starter.
- MS/Ph.D. EE or CSE
Experience with the
following is a plus:
- DSP development on a platform using FPGA
coprocessors - Experience with wireless data communication standards such as 802.11, 802.16, LTE, OFDMA
