Experienced and seasoned embedded software developer able to perform as a key contributor to the architecture, design, and development of a large embedded platform residing on a tactical handheld radio.

 Key contributor or team lead for a team of embedded developers writing OO software for a tactical handheld radio. Candidate also participates in the estimating, planning, and status updates for the program.

To be considered for this exciting and challenging role you must have:

• U.S. Citizenship. Applicants will likely be screened for DoD Secret Clearance.
• BSCS or BSCE or BSEE or MS level same.
• 8+ years embedded software experience with real-time operating systems developing embedded software using C++, C, and ARM processor.
• Requires experience with large, multiprocessor embedded platforms where code size exceeds 100k lines of code. Strong C++ and OO skills are required. Experience with CORBA middleware is highly desirable. Knowledge of time boxed iterative development with agile techniques such as test driven development a strong plus. Experience with the Rational toolset and proficiency with UML preferred.Preference for those candidates who understand Agile techniques such as Scrum and TDD.
