Our client is seeking a federal consultant to work with a Defense agency. This person will bring expertise to assist the Client in achieving short term and long term expectations and goals. Candidates who are qualified and interested are encouraged to apply.

The individual will need the following

• CPA; experience in CFO Act compliance, government financial management, and audit readiness, preferably in DoD


• Expertise in account analysis and reconciliation, financial statement reporting (including coordination with DFAS), and internal control compliance


• Broad experience with multiple federal core accounting systems


• Knowledge of budgetary accounting, including SF133 and DD1002 and cross-walk to USSGL accounts


• Communications skills and success working in an on-site government support environment
